Day 01: Arrival at Antananarivo.
Arrival at Ivato International Airport. Reception by MERCURE VOYAGES, briefing, travel documentation delivery. Transfer to town. Installation and a night at the hotel.
Day 02: Antananarivo / Antsirabe 169 km.
Continental breakfast at the hotel. On the road to the thermal town, Antsirabe. Crossing the undulating landscape of high lands. Travel across a patchwork of rice fields, discovering during the trip the sceneries of rural life of Imerina. Breakfast on their own during the travel. Visit the horns shop (you will discover how these craftsmen manufactured still in a rustic style, from a zebu horn, trinkets, accessories…), the traditional confectionery (sweets in berlingots style), the cutting of precious stones and semi precious in the afternoon. Tour the town by car (railroad station, the Grande Avenue and its totem, l’hôtel des thermes…). Installation in half board at the hotel.
Day 03: Antsirabe / Miandrivazo ( 04 hours).
At 08:30 a.m, you will leave the hotel, for Andraikiba, a lake once frequently used by the sail amateurs. Continuation to the Tritriva Lake, volcanic origin with dark colour because of its great depth, bringing a strange impression. On the way to Miandrivazo after the Lunch on their own. Arrival at Miandrivazo. Installation in half board at the hotel.
Day 04: Miandrivazo / raid at Tsiribihina (by barge).
At 09 a.m, embarkation at the south of Miandrivazo (30 km) and beginning of the raid on the river. A three days journey which crosses a complete wild region. During the trip, you will discover many species of birds, of bats, and sometimes a group of lemurs. Lunch, diner and a night on a white sandbank (under a tent).
Day 05: Raid on the river (by barge).
Continuation of the raid. Observation of crocodiles, birds and visit of colourful villages animated the trip. A stop at a huge cascade and natural swimming pool. Swimming. Meal and night stay in bivouac (under a tent).
Day 06: Belo sur Tsiribihina / Morondava.
End of the raid around noon. Lunch on board. The 4X4 will wait for you at Belo sur Tsiribihina. Raid on barge after lunch. On the way to Morondava. Discover the baobabs in love and some Sakalava tomb on the road. A stop to take picture at the baobabs lane at sunset. Installation, diner and a night at the hotel.
Day 07: Morondava / Belo sur mer.
Continental breakfast at the hotel and then on the way to Belo sur mer, a small village of Vezo fishermen having a long beach accosted by clear water, a genuine tropical aquarium. The sunset is beautiful. Belo sur mer is famous for a construction of botry. Installation in half board at the hotel. A possibility to visit the botry manufacturers in the afternoon. Diner and a night at the hotel.
Day 08: Belo sur mer.
Free day for walking or swimming. Installation in half board at the hotel.
Day 09: Belo sur mer / Andavadaoka.
Continental breakfast at the hotel. A whole day on car, around 10 hours on road or more by taking the coast trail. Beautiful and wild beaches, translucent water and the glaring of sun animated the day. Installation in half board at the hotel. The road makes you little bit tired but the landscaping is rich and the region is simply magical!
Day 10: Andavadaoka.
Free day on the beach and in half board at the hotel.
Day 11: Andavadaoka / Ifaty.
After the breakfast, continuation toward Ifaty, another seaside resort at the North of Tuléar. Installation in half board at the hotel.
Days 12 & 13: Ifaty.
Free day on the beach and in half board at the hotel.
Day 14: Ifaty / Tuléar / Tana.
Continental breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport according to flight schedule, flying to Antananarivo. Reception by MERCURE at arrival, transfer in town and installation in half board at the hotel.
Day 15: Antananarivo / Paris.
Continental breakfast at the hotel. A car is at your disposal until the departure at night. Transfer in the evening to Ivato International Airport for a take off to Paris. End of our services.
