With its unique geography, Madagascar provides a wide selection of activities for all kinds of people :  sports freaks, trekkers, wildlife lovers… Here is a quick overview of what you can do in Madagascar.
 

Rafting

The most famous places to practice rafting are Ampefy and Andringitra, with its numerous small rivers that are perfect for kayaking and hot dog.

 

 
Canyoning

Accessing the sites often requires small expeditions with long marches through forests. In Isalo,  canyoning can aonly be done during the rainy season (november until march) and out of the National Park. On the West coast, the Sakaleona, near the island of Nosy Varika, is the highest waterfall in Madagascar.
 

Fishing

Pêche au grosThe Western and Northern regions (Majunga, Diego and Nosy Be) are the main deep sea fishing destinations in Madagascar. The season stretches from March to December.


Diving

Plongée sous-marineMadagascar has some of the most beautiful diving sites in the world. The islands around Nosy Be, in the North, are particularly worth visiting.
 

Surfing

SurfingNot far from Fort-Dauphin, Vinanibe has the best waves in the country. It's a world famous surfing spot.


Quadbiking

QuadBe it in the South, in the region of Tulear, or in the North, in Nosy Be and Diégo, or even on the East Coast,  one can easily do quad tours, or even quad raids that last several days. More and more agencies offer quadbiking services.
